Non-binding Microplates
No Binding - No Limits
The advanced non-binding surface highlights its usefulness in many areas where elevated binding of molecules, to the plate surface, such as peptides, DNA, RNA and proteins is specifically undesired. This is especially true for sensitive fluorescence or luminescence assays where high background or signal fluctuations can undermine assay performance and results i.e SPA (surface proximity assay).
The „non-binding“ characteristic is not achieved through materials additives, rather through a chemical resin modification.
The initial plates to receive the non-binding treatment are black, solid bottom 96 and 384 well microplates. However, additional plate types are available upon request.
