PapilloCheck: Complete solution for detection of HPV

Greiner Bio-One GmbH is launching for the first time two variants of a specially adapted DNA Extraction Kit for its cervical (cervix uteri) cancer test system PapilloCheck. By expanding the product portfolio for the test system, the company now offers a simple and rapid complete solution for detection of human papilloma viruses (HPV).

Reliable light resistance with Light Protection Tubes

Frickenhausen, [16 September 2009] – Greiner Bio-One GmbH is expanding its range of light resistant vessels. Light Protection Tubes made of pigmented polypropylene are now also available as reaction tubes for smaller volumes up to 1.5 ml providing effective protection for photosensitive substances against harmful UV radiation.

Beauty to rival Swarovski – protein crystals in CrystalSlide

CrystalSlide for counter diffusion applications enables crystals to be analysed in an X-ray source and is also suitable for applications with polarised and UV light.

CELLview improves microscopic vision

Sensitive, specific and fast – external validation of CytoCheck mycoplasma test kit completed

Frickenhausen – [03/17/2009] - The international congress “2009 PDA, 3rd Workshop on Mycoplasmas”, to be held in Berlin from 24 to 26 March, offers scientists from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, research institutes and external contract laboratories a platform to discuss new detection methods for mycoplasmas. Greiner Bio-One GmbH will be presenting its innovative DNA chip CytoCheck, which enables 40 mycoplasmas to be detected in cell cultures at species level.

Microplates with non-binding surfaces

Frickenhausen – Greiner Bio-One announced at Medica 2007 novel microplates with
an exceptionally high protein-repellent surface. The microplates developed at the
company optimise biochemical active substance screening in that the influence of the
plate surface on the test result is minimised.
