Highthroughput Screening - HTS
Greiner Bio-One offers microplates with uniform footprint which conform to the recommendation of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) (ANSI/SBS 1-2004). The HTS microplates are manufactured from different resin to satisfy the customer's specific application.
- Polystyrene: highly clear polymer with excellent optical propeties ideal for precise optical measurments. Furthermore, it is characterized by its ability to bind biomolecules, such as proteins. This resin is suitable for immunological products and cell culture.
- Polypropylene: its characterized by excellent chemical and thermal stability. It is ideal for storage vessels or microplates. Polar molecules, such as DNA or proteins, bind less to polypropylene than to polystyrene.
- Polyolefins: characterized by their low level of autofluorescence, exceptionally high clarity in the UV range, and greater chemical stability when compared with polystyrene.
